Auto Locator has signed a two year sponsorship extension with Steve Wilbur Racing . The new deal will take Auto Locator and the Super Sportsman racing team through the 2004 season.
The goal of the new contract was to solidify Steve Wilbur Racing in the highly competitive Super Sportsman division that races weekly at Silver Spring Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Auto Locator is a weekly publication based in Mount Joy, PA is
distributed to more than 1,800 convenient stores in over 42 counties in
Pennsylvania along with areas of Maryland, West Virginia, Delaware and New York. Every week its pages, as you are finding out right now, are filled with new and used vehicles ranging from trucks and SUVs, to family cars, boats, motorcycles and street rods.
"Auto Locator is excited about the opportunity to continue our
sponsorship with Steve Wilbur Racing," a spokesman said. "We look forward to continued success both on the track and with our publication."
Steve Wilbur has been racing for almost 20 years and has been competing in the Super Sportsman division since 1995. During this time in the Super Sportsman division he has won more than 10 feature events. His wins have come at area tracks such as Silver Spring Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Penn National Speedway, Selinsgrove Speedway, Big Diamond Raceway and Susquehanna Speedway.
The Auto Locator sponsorship extension shows that marketing through motorsports, sponsorship of motorsports events and teams, does work.
AMERICA has always had heroes, people like teachers, doctors, firemen, police, and those who serve in the military. They are people we see every day, people who make a difference in our lives. Ever since September 11, 2001, when heroes from all walks of life emerged in a horribly trying time, we've come to appreciate even more the very special people who make a difference.
Now, MBNA and Dover International Speedway will step forward September 20-22 to honor civilian and military heroes as all three NASCAR races that weekend will be renamed with the "MBNA All-American Heroes" title. Special events to honor special Americans are being planned for what will no doubt be a most memorable weekend.
All three races thus officially have new titles. The Winston Cup race on September 22 is now the MBNA All-American Heroes 400. The Busch Series race on September 21 is the MBNA All-American Heroes 200, and the Busch North Series race of September 20 now assumes the title of MBNA All-American Heroes 150.
Good seats remain for all the events and it will be the last chance to for local fans to see their NASCAR Winston Cup and Busch Series racers in action at a local racing facility.
