Lance Dewease was the big winner in the Jack Gunn Memorial Triple 20s for 410 sprint cars on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway, but his car owner, Al Hamilton, and arch rival Fred Rahmer reached some milestones during the course of the evening.
Rahmer started on the pole in the first feature, beat Keith Kauffman into the first turn and never looked back as he won his 50th career feature at Williams Grove. And in the second race Rahmer got by Todd Hestor in the late laps and went on to win his second of the night and fourth in his last five outings at the Mechanicsburg clay oval.
In the third event Hestor was again out front but Lance Dewease was a man on a mission and he got the lead on the ninth lap and went on to win. It was his 54th win at Williams Grove. The win was car owner Al Hamilton's 81st which tied him with Bob Weikert as the all time leading winning car owners.
Dewease picked up some big bucks with $5,000 for the win in the third feature. Overall, based on money won, Dewease was tops with $6500 won followed by Rahmer with $6100 won.

He was rewarded with a victory in the sprint car feature at Clinton County Speedway in Lock Haven in Friday night. It was his second career win.

"Fred was all over me there for a long time, and I kind of moved up in into his lane. I thought he was running the top in (turns) one and two, so I moved up down there. Then I thought he was doing the same down in three and four, because I was running the bottom…so I moved up down there. Then he showed me his nose down on the bottom again! I thought 'Man, this guy is all over me!" I didn't know what to do!"
"Fred wanted this one bad," said Hodnett, "He actually mentioned that he wants to get this 10 wins here at Lincoln because he's done it every year. But we're going to do everything we can to keep him from it."
